German cockroaches live exclusively indoors in kitchens, bathrooms, and anywhere food is prepared. A single female can produce hundreds of offspring, so small problems become infestations fast.
We combine gel baits, crack-and-crevice treatments, and growth regulators. Over-the-counter sprays often scatter roaches. Our treatments are designed to draw the colony out and kill it at the source.

Signs you need German cockroach control
The University of Maine Cooperative Extension describes the German cockroach as about 1/2 inch long and light brown, with two dark stripes running lengthwise on the shield behind the head. Seeing them in daylight, or seeing several scatter when you switch on the kitchen light at night, points to an established population.
Other signs are small dark specks of droppings along cabinet hinges, drawer corners, and the backs of appliances, brown egg capsules in cracks, and an unpleasant, musty odor where they gather. They are drawn to empty bottles and cans. Roaches turning up outside the kitchen and bathroom matter most, because UMaine notes they spread to other rooms as their numbers grow.
To check for yourself, set a sticky trap overnight under the sink or behind the refrigerator. If several roaches are on it by morning, they are living close by.
What affects the cost of German cockroach control
Price follows the size of the infestation and how many rooms or units it has reached. Apartments that share walls and plumbing may need the neighboring units treated too. A commercial kitchen needs a tailored plan with documentation. Because elimination takes multiple treatments, the number of follow-up visits is a large part of the cost. Clutter, heavy grease, and hard-to-reach voids behind stoves, dishwashers, and refrigerators add time. The inspection is free, and the price comes before we start.
Why it matters: allergens and asthma
The EPA lists cockroaches as an asthma trigger. Proteins in their droppings, saliva, and body parts can cause allergic reactions and asthma symptoms, and the EPA singles out cockroach allergen as a significant factor in asthma. That is one reason a German cockroach problem is worth treating quickly.
Speed matters. UMaine Extension puts the egg-to-egg life cycle at three to six weeks, with up to 48 eggs in each capsule. Between visits, wash dishes daily, keep food in sealed containers and trash in covered cans, and fill gaps around pipes with steel wool. Less food and fewer hiding spots make the baits work better.
